Our operational terms answer every direct question before you book a boat or rent gear.

We organize our terms around the plain questions customers ask: weather cancellations in the Gulf, equipment security deposits, and how our catalog operates strictly on an inquiry basis.

Effective Date: October 16, 2026 Inquiry-Only Commercial Framework Governed by Florida Maritime Law

When did these operational rules take effect?

These Terms of Service and Rental Rules took effect on October 16, 2026. Every inquiry processed through budi-dive.shop, every diver roster confirmation, and every rental agreement issued from our service counter at 803 North Tampa Street operates under these governing provisions until a formal update is posted.

Effective Date: October 16, 2026 // Budi Dive Tampa

Who is the contract with, and where are you located?

Your legal relationship is with Budi Dive, an independent diving center and technical equipment facility trading at budi-dive.shop. Our physical operations desk, gas blending manifold, and equipment rental bay are located at 803 North Tampa Street, Tampa, Florida 33602, Tampa, Florida, United States.

Instruction is led by an active NAUI instructor member operating under registered credentials since 2026. All communications regarding safety, certification checkouts, or gear maintenance are handled directly through our Tampa workshop team.

Physical Entity: Budi Dive • 803 North Tampa Street, Tampa, Florida 33602

What services do you provide, and what do you refuse?

We provide NAUI scuba instruction (Try Scuba, Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Scuba Skills Refresher, and Enriched Air Nitrox), guided coastal shore dive excursions ($20–$69 per site), offshore Gulf boat charters ($125–$210 per spot), breathing air and Nitrox cylinder fills, and technical gear rental (regulators, BCDs, wetsuits, computers, tanks).

We refuse to certify divers who fail fundamental buoyancy requirements or cannot demonstrate calm primary regulator recovery. We do not run thirty-diver cattle boat excursions, we do not perform unverified gas blending without signed customer analysis, and we do not issue rental gear to individuals lacking accredited proof of certification.

Can I buy products or book a trip directly on this website?

No. Our catalog is strictly inquiry-only. There is no shopping cart, no checkout gateway, and no mechanism for binding electronic payment on budi-dive.shop. We take this position deliberately because scuba diving is an equipment-intensive, life-critical discipline requiring direct human assessment.

When you submit an inquiry form or initiate support chat, you receive an operational assessment and price estimate based on your specific requirements. An inquiry becomes an order only after our instructor verifies diver certification levels, reviews standard medical questionnaires, confirms equipment sizing, and issues a formal written reservation agreement at our counter or via direct email.

How are quotes calculated, and what causes the price to change?

All figures on this site are stated in United States Dollars (USD) and represent confirmed operator pricing baselines:

  • Try Scuba (Confined Water): $45–$50 per person (1-hour introduction).
  • NAUI Open Water Certification: $475–$825 per course.
  • Advanced Open Water Course: $395–$825 per course.
  • Scuba Skills Refresher: $150–$200 per course.
  • Enriched Air Nitrox Specialty: $200–$225 per course.
  • Shore Dive Guided Excursion: $20–$69 per site.
  • Offshore Boat Charter Run: $125–$210 per spot.

Quotes vary strictly depending on verifiable operational factors: whether you require full shop equipment rental or bring your own inspected gear; whether you choose 1-on-1 private instruction versus a small group format; the age of the participant; the specific dive site park permit fees; and maritime boat fuel or charter seat costs.

What are the rules of conduct for using this site?

Visitors may not inject automated scripts, web scrapers, or bot payloads into our dispatch endpoints (mifufad.php and seba27d.php). Our forms carry invisible honeypot verification traps (named agency and website). Submitting false contact information, attempting denial-of-service disruptions, spoofing diver certification numbers, or submitting forged medical clearance documents will result in an immediate permanent ban and referral to maritime licensing bodies.

Who owns the photographs, text, and technical diagrams here?

All content on budi-dive.shop—including our workshop photographs, equipment benchmarks, course syllabi, visual identity marks, and software layouts—is the exclusive intellectual property of Budi Dive and protected under United States and international copyright statutes.

You may not reproduce, syndicate, mirror, or harvest our technical copy, course outlines, or imagery for commercial scuba ventures without express prior written consent from our Tampa management.

What is provided as-is, and what warranties are excluded?

The digital information on budi-dive.shop is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis for educational and pre-booking orientation. While we maintain rigorous accuracy regarding course syllabi, tank dimensions, and pricing scales, real-time offshore dive conditions fluctuate with maritime weather.

We disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability or fitness for a particular diving excursion, to the fullest extent permitted under Florida jurisprudence. Real-time dive safety decisions remain under the operational authority of the vessel captain and certified divemaster on site.

What is the limit of liability for gear rental and web inquiries?

Scuba diving involves inherent physiological and environmental hazards, including decompression sickness, barotrauma, and rapid marine weather shifts. Prior to entering the water, all course candidates and excursion guests must execute standard NAUI liability waivers and RSTC medical statements.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Florida maritime statutes, Budi Dive's aggregate commercial liability for any claim arising from web inquiries, catalog estimates, or equipment rental arrangements shall not exceed the total fees paid directly to Budi Dive for the specific service in dispute. We are not liable for incidental travel losses or hotel cancellations resulting from weather rescheduling.

When can service or rental access be refused?

We reserve the absolute right to refuse training, decline equipment rentals, or cancel a charter reservation under clear safety criteria:

  • Failure to present a recognized digital or physical C-card from an accredited agency (NAUI, PADI, SSI, etc.).
  • Affirmative answers on the diver medical questionnaire without written clearance from a licensed physician.
  • Evidence of alcohol or substance intoxication during gear handover or morning vessel departure.
  • Negligent or dangerous handling of compressed gas cylinders and life-support regulators.

What law governs these terms, and where are disputes resolved?

These terms and all operational transactions are governed exclusively by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any legal dispute, action, or proceeding arising under these terms or relating to diving services arranged through Budi Dive must be initiated and heard exclusively in the state or federal courts situated in Tampa, Hillsborough County, Florida.

How do you inform customers when terms are updated?

When revisions occur, we update the effective date at the top of this document. Any active diver roster reservations or unexpired rental quotes issued prior to a modification remain governed by the provisions active at the moment the reservation was formally confirmed. Continued use of budi-dive.shop after revisions are published constitutes acceptance of the amended terms.
